Often the age of a woman betrays the appearance of her neck. The skin in this place is thinner than on the face and devoid of fatty lining. What to do when it begins to lose firmness? And how to deal with treacherous wrinkles, when they already appeared?
With age, the biological activity of the body’s cells decreases, regeneration processes slow down, and resistance to environmental stress decreases. Menopause-related estrogen deficiency accelerates the process of sagging-because the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid is inhibited.
In addition, there is a violation of the regeneration of keratinocytes, which build the epidermis. As a result, the skin becomes thinner and loses its elasticity, which is most noticeable on the neck and décolleté.
Fortunately, there are many ways, thanks to which you can restore the skin of this area elasticity and avoid the stigma of passing time.
Firming oils for neck skin
Pour 1/2 cup of grape seed oil, ¼ cup of pumpkin seed oil and a tablespoon of linseed oil into the bottle. Mix thoroughly and pour into a dark bottle.
Grape seed oil is light and well absorbed, it also has an astringent effect, in which it resembles the action of tonics. Pumpkin seed oil moisturizes and nourishes. Reduces wrinkles and prevents moisture from escaping from the skin. In contrast, linseed oil has the highest content of omega-3 and -6 acids, so it strengthens the skin and gives it a youthful appearance.
Keep the mixture in the refrigerator (up to a month). Before applying to the neck, lightly warm it in your hands. Lubricate 3 times a day, preferably immediately after bathing2.
